TULIP (Tenant User Liability Insurance Policy) provides insurance coverage to third parties (individuals, groups, organizations, etc.) which use public property or facilities owned by Trust Member municipalities, schools, and special purpose districts for "special events" such as meetings, weddings, receptions, festivals, and sporting events. It offers coverage limits of $1 million for products/operations and $1 million in liability for bodily injury and property damage, largely freeing both the third-party user and the Trust Member from losses that may occur during a designated function.
- Premises Operations
- Products/Completed Operations
- Contractual Liability
- Broad Form Property Damage
- Personal Injury Liability
- Cost of defense in addition to the limit of liability for any coverage
- Liquor Liability
- Increased Third Property Damage Limits
- Your entity becomes an “Additional Insured” for each covered event
With a TULIP policy in place, Trust Members receive assurance that should a lawsuit arise from a third-party event, they will not be the principal party or only financial resource defending the claim; the TULIP policy will be the primary source of insurance.
How to obtain a tulip policy
The third party (individual, group or organization) can obtain a quote and/or purchase TULIP insurance coverage directly online at www.ebi-ins.com/tulip using a credit card. They will need your entity's TULIP ID Code to complete the process. For a complete listing of all Trust Member TULIP ID Codes, click here.
